Just thought I would take the opportunity to give a little background on the site. It’s hoped that once we get Andy up to speed with things that the site will become a useful resource for those who gain pleasure from viewing wood carvings and for Andy to keep a record of work undertaken. Plus it will provide him with opportunity to record some of the history behind individual pieces. I know that he finds the technology rather daunting, however it’s now a necessary requirement, so fingers crossed!
The core of the design of the site revolves around high quality graphics, so at the moment the site is a little lacking in many areas. That’s not a criticism of Andy, he’s taken lots of photographs but often failing to pay attention to what he is focusing on and with a poor quality camera. So the poor lad has now had a lecture on what to do and more importantly what not to do. This should mean that the site improves graphically over the coming months as Andy takes more shots of his work.
I hope you find the site easy to navigate and use and that it provides all the information that you require, if it falls short in any area please let Andy know. I know that he is keen to make the site very active and I am sure he will feed back any alterations which he feels the site needs.
Last but not least if you have any shots or videos of Andy’s work and you are happy to donate them to be used on the site please forward them to Andy.
Thanks for your time and please enjoy your viewing
